Inspection and treatment of rail after welding

Rail welding is to be dehumidified. When working in winter, first heat the rail to around 50?, eliminate the humidity on the rail end and the card box, then use a steel brush to remove the dirt on the rail surface. Rail welded joints should be inspected for inspected, the welding head must not have any defects such as incomplete penetration, over-burning, cracking, and venting. Rails should be inspected strictly after welding, the first is the inspection of the appearance, how is it done?

1?  Any defects in the weld that are not welded, burned, cracked, vented, and pinched should be sawn and rewelded.

2?  Rail welding head should be smoothed longitudinally and must not have low joints; Measuring the non-straightness within 1 m of the rail weld head with a 1 m ruler. The top surface of the rail is 0?+0.3mm/m, the working surface and the upper surface of the rail head is -0.3?0.3mm/m, the bottom of the rail is 0?+0.5mm/m, and the non-working surface is 0?+0.5mm/m. It is found that the final target must be polished again, if it has reached the standard, it will be recorded. When measuring flatness, the temperature of the welding horn should be lower than 50?.

3?  The surface irregularity within 100mm on both sides of the center line of the weld is not more than 0.2mm. The top surface of the rail and the side of the rail head are not more than 0.5mm.

4?  The rail welding head shall be ground in the range of 150mm on both sides of the upper surface weld of the rail bottom and 35mm from the edge of the bottom edge of the rail on both sides. There shall be no obvious defects such as indentation, scratches and scratches on the sides of the weld, and there shall be no electric shock to the welding head. Weld temperature should be cooled below 40? during flaw detection.
