On November 10, 2025, Henan Zongxiang Heavy Industry Co., Ltd, one of China’s leading professional crane rail suppliers, successfully completed the loading and shipment of a 2000-ton batch of QU100 (UIC100) crane rails bound for the United Arab Emirates. The order, valued at approximately USD 1.65 million, will be used primarily for large-scale overhead crane and gantry crane projects in Dubai’s expanding logistics parks and port expansion facilities.

Product Highlights The exported QU100 crane rail strictly follows Chinese national standard GB/T 3426-2019 and is fully compatible with international standards such as UIC 860 and AREMA. Key technical specifications include:

· Material grade: U71Mn (710 MPa high-strength carbon steel)

· Single length: 12 meters (with custom drilling and end-beveling as per client drawings)

· Chemical composition and mechanical properties 100% compliant with export inspection requirements

· Surface treatment: anti-corrosion oil coating + end-face protective painting

· All rails passed third-party SGS pre-shipment inspection

Each rail is hot-rolled with high wear resistance and excellent bending strength, capable of withstanding repeated loads of 100–300 ton heavy-duty cranes under high-temperature desert conditions (up to 50 °C).

Production & Quality Control The entire batch was produced at Zongxiang’s cooperative steel mill in Henan Province using continuous casting + universal rolling technology, ensuring extremely low internal stress and high dimensional accuracy (height tolerance ±0.5 mm, web thickness tolerance ±0.3 mm). The company implemented a full-process quality traceability system:

1. Raw material spectrometer inspection

2. Ultrasonic flaw detection (Level 1 standard, zero critical defects)

3. Hardness testing (HB 220–260)

4. Geometric dimension laser scanning

5. Pre-assembly trial installation with clips and pads at the factory

Logistics & Delivery Loading took place at Tianjin Xingang Port using 40-foot open-top containers and bulk vessels. To cope with the UAE’s high temperature and high humidity marine environment, Zongxiang specially added VCI anti-corrosion film packaging and wooden support frames to prevent deformation during long-distance sea transport. The first vessel departed on November 15 and is expected to arrive at Jebel Ali Port by early December 2025.

Customer Background & Cooperation The UAE client is a well-known local port machinery engineering contractor that has undertaken multiple wharf expansion and logistics park projects in Dubai and Abu Dhabi in recent years. After comparing suppliers from China, India, and Europe, the client ultimately selected Zongxiang for its advantages in delivery speed (60 days from deposit to shipment), competitive pricing, and complete after-sales technical support. This is the second cooperation between both parties in 2025; the previous QU80 rail order delivered in June has been successfully installed and put into operation.
