Plates of middle thickness is refers to the thickness of 4.5-25.0 mm steel plate, included carbon plate, carbon plate, low-alloy plate, ship plate, bridge plate, boiler plate, container board, etc. Thick plate is the thickness of 25.0-100.0 mm steel plate. And the extra thick steel plate is the thickness more than 100.0 mm steel plate.

Classification of middle thickness plate

With the introduction of new process, the yield of middle and thick plate mill from slab to finished steel sheet has reached 94.2 percent.If no initial rolling slab and continuous casting slab, usable flat steel ingot as raw materials. It is only used to make raw materials when producing special medium plate.
